Stumbling all the way, Zhong Bi returned to the dormitory, tossing and turning, unable to sleep through the night. The branches swayed and the leaves rustled, the sound of the wind howling, like whispers in the dead of night. Zhang Shuo looked up, slightly furrowing his brow, "The wind is really strong today, can you hear it?" His tone was casual and polite, the most ordinary of small talk. As the crowd dispersed, Zhang Shuo and Zhong Bi walked out one after the other. On a summer night, there were no stars, nor was there a moon; the shadows of the trees danced, and the light was dim. The night wind made the red banner in front of the century-old lecture hall rustle loudly, with the words "Graduation Party" shining in golden letters. Zhong Bi waited for his attention to focus on her, looking into his eyes, her expression earnest, and slowly spoke: "It is not the wind that moves, nor the banner that moves, it is my heart that is moving." After a pause, she softly asked him, "Have you heard it?" Her eyes shone like stars in the night, full of hope and expectation. With a long sigh, she turned and left without saying a word. Zhang Shuo stood there in a daze, his lips moving, but he did not respond for a long time. Seeing him like this, Zhong Bi's expression changed instantly; she quickly turned her head away, her nose felt sour, and the corners of her eyes were moist, trying hard to hold back her tears. Her feelings were expressed so clearly, and his rejection was implied so obviously. That was the sound of the banner being blown. Zhong Bi stood under the tree, her hands in her pockets, gazing at his tall figure, her emotions surging. Zhang Shuo turned back and saw her standing still, raising an eyebrow in question.
