Outside the hospital emergency room, He Xi slowly regained consciousness while leaning in Li Xing's arms. After a brief moment of confusion, she suddenly sat up: "Where is Xiao Hei, Xiao Hei..."

He Xi's shoulders suddenly slumped down, and like a child in need of comfort, he desperately pressed his tear ducts as he leaned into Li Xing's embrace, his cold little hands instinctively gripping his clothes

He Xi was truly taken aback by the words, staring blankly at Li Xing for a long time before weakly asking in a tearful voice: "Will I die?"
