Although Huangdu possessed immense power, it was ultimately killed in the wilderness of the East by six powerful beings: the divine bird Liyuan, the heavenly serpent Baihuang, the three-clawed golden crow, the giant spirit Xinggan, the two-headed demon dragon, and the wood deity Qingti.

Among the Baidi people, the Giant Spirit Clan produced a leader of unparalleled innate strength—Xing Mangdi. Another branch of their ancestors is the ancient divine beast—Giant Spirit Xinggan.
