Chapter 007: The Hijacker

Fang Shi licked the blood from the corner of his mouth and sat down on the single bed in the corner, his expression somewhat gloomy. After being escorted to the detention room, he managed to piece together who had captured him; they were actually security officers from a starship. However, what he could not understand was why they had apprehended him.

Fang Shi quickly nodded his head

Cell No. 3, the heavy iron door was rudely locked.

"So should I let you go now?" Yu Zhengyang continued.

Inside the interrogation room, the lights are brightly lit

"Hijacking? She?" Fang Shi furrowed her brows slightly, responding with a look of complete confusion.

Fang Shi resembled an injured kitten, carefully examining his wounded body. The plainclothes officers who had beaten him were quite ruthless, with several blows landing on vital areas. Had it not been for his sturdy physique, he might have sustained serious injuries.

Yu Zhengyang turned to Fang Shi and said, "It is her, confess honestly."

"Sir, are you saying that I have kidnapped Yan Xiaoshi?" Fang Shi paused for a moment before cautiously asking.

After listening to the narration, Yu Zhengyang fell silent for several seconds before saying with a smile that was not quite a smile: "m.hetushu.com, do you mean to say that I have arrested the wrong person?"

Yu Zhengyang's eyes glinted with a hint of coldness as he suddenly stood up from his seat and walked straight out of the room. Moments later, two men dressed in security uniforms entered, directly escorting Fang Shi out of the interrogation room and into a dimly lit chamber, where he was completely restrained.

Fang Shi was finally taken out of the detention room and brought into the interrogation room, where he sat down in a chair specifically designed for criminal suspects. Opposite him sat two individuals, one of whom was the public security officer, Zhi An Chang, whom he had violently assaulted in the restroom.

"What is the little princess of the Yan family? I don't know her at all..." As he spoke halfway, Fang Shi suddenly stopped. Xiao Shi's surname is Yan; could it be that the little princess of the Yan family mentioned by the other party is Yan Xiao Shi? "Are you referring to Yan Xiao Shi?"

Tao Xiaole fixed his gaze on Fang Shi, a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth, his eyes reflecting a hint of excitement. He coldly said: "Kid, I heard you gave my boss a good beating. It's the first time I've seen someone make him look so miserable. However, in a certain sense, I must thank you, because he used to beat me up like that. Unfortunately, my strength is limited, and the outcome of every challenge was the same: I got brutally beaten. This time, he has tasted the bitterness of being beaten up. Although I wasn't the one who did the beating, I still feel a sense of satisfaction. In light of this 'favor' you have done, I will try to go easy on you."

After Yu Zhengyang finished his cigarette, a Qiqi brand, he slowly walked away

Three days later, in the morning

Fang Shi squinted at the handsome man in front of him, his expression slightly unpleasant. He had already formed some pessimistic conjectures in his mind. Based on the actions of the interrogator just now and the seemingly unusual nature of this room, it appeared that the other party did not believe the facts he had presented.

Yu Zhengyang exhaled a column of smoke and said leisurely, "Medium rare will be fine."

"Speak," Yu Zhengyang said, his voice suddenly rising, exuding an imposing presence. "Why did you abduct her?"

Fang Shi nodded, revealing a demeanor of honesty and compliance. When Yu Zhengyang's expression slightly softened, he spoke slowly, saying: "Commander, I believe you have misunderstood. In fact, I have a connection with Yan Xiaoshi..."

Yu Zhengyang's gaze sharpened, and he coldly snorted: "What, unwilling to admit it? Since you had the audacity to kidnap the young princess of the Yan family, why do you lack the courage to confess? I advise you to honestly clarify the matter; otherwise, you will face the consequences of your crimes"

The lighting in the detention room is somewhat dim, with a miniature camera installed on each of the metal walls at a diagonal angle, clearly monitoring the entire situation in the detention room

The young man nodded

Fang Shi was slightly taken aback upon hearing this, as there seemed to be something hidden in the other party's tone. He felt that something was amiss, but for the moment, he could not articulate what it was.

Yan Xiaoshi?" Yu Zhengyang was slightly taken aback; in fact, he did not know the name of that young princess from the Yan family. He slightly tilted his head to look at the somewhat frail young man beside him and asked, "Is that so?"

Fang Shi tried to remain calm, as this was an opportunity to understand why he had been arrested. Upon hearing Yu Zhengyang's questions, he gently nodded. Fang Shi was not particularly surprised by the content of Yu Zhengyang's words; his identity card and other items had long been in the other party's possession, making it easy to check his relevant information and records, which did not seem to involve any illegal content.

Yu Zhengyang asked slowly and deliberately, "I didn't say anything wrong, did I?"

Yu Zhengyang's lips twitched slightly, a hint of anger appearing on his face. He slammed his right hand on the table in front of him and said angrily, "Kid, my patience is limited. If you don't explain yourself soon, don't blame me for being rude."

The face of the stern man is quite handsome, adorned with a hint of an elusive smile. "Boss, how well done do you want this steak?"

"Five minutes? This doesn't seem like your style. I heard that a few days ago, you were beaten up by that kid." The stern man showed a hint of surprise.

Yu Zhengyang's expression was stern, striving to maintain an imposing presence, his gaze piercing like an ice blade as he stared directly at Fang Shi. "Fang Shi, the owner of the repair shop located at No. 56 Hexi Street, Jiangdong District, Jiangyan City, K3 Mine in the Western District. His father passed away four years ago in a mining accident, his mother has since remarried, and he has a ten-year-old younger sister."

Yu Zhengyang furrowed his brows and slowly said: "After all, this is related to the five prominent families. It would be best for us insignificant individuals not to cause any trouble. If what this kid says turns out to be true, we will have a hard time explaining ourselves to the Yan family. If he hasn't spoken up yet, let's first detain Tu Shu and return him to the holding cell. We can decide our next steps once we understand the Yan family's stance."

Fang Shi observed that his body was largely unharmed, let out a long sigh, and began to contemplate his situation. Upon recalling the three men wearing sunglasses and dressed in black suits, he became even more certain that his capture was likely related to Yan Xiaoshi. However, he found it difficult to untangle the exact nature of the inevitable connection between them.

Outside the room, Yu Zhengyang was smoking the most popular Sanqi brand cigarettes among the troops. Beside him stood a cold and stern man in his twenties, with a face like white jade.

I am not a kidnapper; what I am stating are all facts. Fang Shi once again earnestly reiterated the facts

The members of the second squad responsible for the arrest did not provide Fang Shi with any explanation, nor did they give him a chance to speak. Upon witnessing the tragic state of Yu Zhengyang, several indignant team members immediately beat him up, who had already been detained.

Fang Shi thoroughly and earnestly recounted the events that transpired during the time leading up to his arrest in detail to Yan Xiaoshi.

Bang!

Alright. Then I will go in and keep him company for a while. The stern man nodded, then directly opened the door and walked in
