The Japanese army's 19th and 20th Divisions stationed in Korea also made plans to gather at the Sino-Korean border, preparing to cross the Tumen River and the Yalu River from two directions to support the Kwantung Army, and dispatched advance units to carry out bridge construction and surveying as part of their military preparations.
