Chapter 7: The Thief
Another person, having listened to the mouse, did not refute: "Mouse, do you really think that the left hall master would take a liking to us two nameless underlings? He should like this car, right?"
At this moment, Hu Yan was still sitting gloomily inside the Phantom sports car, resting his chin on his hand, gazing blankly at the pedestrians coming and going outside, as well as the cars driving along the road.
At that moment, Mu Ling approached holding a paper bag containing clothes. Seeing the rat and the lookout thief, he angrily shouted, "What are you doing? This is my car. Get away quickly, or I will call the police." Mu Ling took out his phone, pretending to be about to call the police, and threatened the two car thieves.
At this moment, the two thieves outside the car were completely oblivious, continuing their leisurely activities as if they were simply opening their own car doors rather than stealing a vehicle. Even the passersby who noticed them stealing the car chose to ignore the scene, quickly walking away with expressions of fear. It was evident from their eyes that many of them recognized the two thieves and were exceptionally fearful of them, indicating that these car thieves had some notoriety.
Only after he finished apologizing did the Taoist priestess give him a disdainful glance and say: "A dog cannot produce ivory from its mouth"
You old thing, how dare you ask me what I am doing here? Isn't it because of your precious disciple? Didn't you drive him away? That little lecher has come down the mountain, and now he has even lured my disciple down with him. She knows nothing and actually left me a letter saying she was going to find Brother Hu Yan. As a result, she ran down the mountain when I wasn't paying attention. If anything happens to Qian Qian, I will settle the score with you and your disciple.
The old man awkwardly touched his head, secretly thinking to himself, "Really, I accidentally let slip what was on my mind. But that girl truly is a little nun; I didn't say anything wrong. If you don't want people to call her a little nun, why give her a shaved head?" Of course, these words were something the old man would never dare to say out loud; they were merely a fleeting indulgence in his own thoughts.
Looking at the angry expression of the Taoist priestess, the old man also said with a face full of anger: "I knew long ago that the kid was no good, which is why I tried every means to drive him down the mountain. Now it seems my words have been validated. However, you need not worry about Qianqian's safety. Just based on that little nun, oh no, I mean that little girl, I apologize for my slip of the tongue." The old man awkwardly looked at the Taoist priestess, who suddenly widened her eyes at him, and he awkwardly smiled as he spoke.
"Mouse, for God's sake, hurry up! I still need to go back and have a romp with that slut Ah Hong. " said another guy in a denim outfit, keeping watch, with a lewd expression on his face.
Hu Yan sat in the car watching him bustling about, feeling extremely frustrated. If it weren't for his pants being tight around his little brother, he would have gotten out of the car to beat up the two thieves who had come to steal from him.
In the end, the old man exerted tremendous effort and finally persuaded the Taoist priestess not to descend the mountain in search of her precious disciple. He also encouraged her to experience the world and gain some practical experience at the foot of the mountain, for she could not remain on the mountain her entire life. Yet, all of this nonsense was completely unknown to him.
"Hurry up, hurry up! What the hell are you rushing for? This car is a gift we are sending to the Left Hall Master of the Knife Society to celebrate his thirty-fifth birthday. I certainly cannot allow it to be damaged in any way; otherwise, how can we present it as a gift? If the Left Hall Master sees this cool Phantom sports car and gets excited, he might treat us bar managers to drinks, and then we would be part of the Knife Society. At that point, the beautiful women in the bar would be at your disposal. Women like Ah Hong are nothing; she's just an old woman in her forties. You still think about climbing into her bed every day, what a disgrace to me!" The mouse, who was stealing the car, said with a look of disdain at the other person.
At that moment, Hu Yan's expression suddenly became strange, for he saw a fellow with a rat-like appearance holding a tool, attempting to open the car door. Beside him stood another man who was constantly looking around. Even Hu Yan, no matter how naive, realized he was encountering a thief. However, due to the car windows being designed to allow visibility only from the outside, the two thieves were unaware that there was still a living person seated inside the car.
Damn it, I wouldn't have done this myself. I just accidentally tore my pants, and now I have no pants to wear. And now, of all times, I've encountered a thief again, and unfortunately, he came to me. " Hu Yan muttered to himself, glaring at the thief outside who was busy at work.
Rest assured, I know a prominent figure under the left hall master. With his introduction, along with this Phantom sports car, success is certainly guaranteed. After saying this, the mouse began to busy himself again
After being momentarily taken aback by the scolding, the old man looked at the Taoist priestess in front of him with a gloomy expression and asked, "Since you are not here to reconcile with me, then what are you doing here? It's really frustrating to have gotten my hopes up for nothing." The old man spoke to the priestess, while secretly grumbling to himself that superstition is indeed unreliable! Who was the idiot that said sneezing means someone is thinking of you? If I ever see that person again, I will definitely give him a good beating to vent my anger.
Given the capabilities of that young girl, she certainly won't suffer any losses down the mountain; you can rest assured about this. When she finds that scoundrel Hu Yan, with him around, it will be even less likely for anyone to bully that girl. You know very well the position she holds in Hu Yan's heart. Even if I, an old man, were to bully that girl, he would dare to fight me to the death. The old man spoke confidently, but there was one thing he did not mention: while others may not dare to bully the girl when she comes down the mountain, it does not mean that his lecherous disciple would not take advantage of her. Hehe, if that girl comes back with a big belly, it would certainly bring me great honor.
The old Taoist priest felt overjoyed upon hearing his words. "This kid is much better than I am as a master; he actually managed to deceive that well-behaved little girl down the mountain. He truly brings honor to me," the old man thought to himself, yet there was not a trace of this sentiment displayed on his face
