With the proclamation of Old Naisai on the desolate beach, a new nation was born in this chaotic and turbulent world

I, Netherthe Elder of Gils Village, hereby solemnly announce the establishment of the great Seventon Alliance.

After the "Great Sundering," the dark elves, unable to endure the sunlight due to the curse of the Elven Matron, finally defeated the gray dwarves, spirit siphons, minotaurs, and other indigenous peoples after several centuries of bloody battles, conquering much of the Underdark. They established magnificent underground cities, creating a unique civilization distinct from that of the surface elves. However, due to the chaotic nature of the Spider Queen, Lolth, the dark elves gradually became a tragic race, mired in self-inflicted violence, with a bleak future ahead.

On their former territory, the descendants of the slaves reestablished the two nations ruled by the divine kings Muhammad and Enser for generations. However, due to the divine kings' extensive literary inquisition, the burning of texts, and the implementation of a policy of isolationism, they pursued a thorough policy of ignorance. Coupled with constant border disputes and severe internal turmoil, these two seemingly vast civilizational empires are, in fact, among the most backward countries on the continent of Feren.

At this time, Seventon is no longer referred to as the Seven Towns. It has been replaced with a new name that is equally straightforward, yet far more renowned, which is—Naiseryl

The Twilight of the Empire

The once-dominant Near Eastern power, the Imaskar Empire, renowned for its artificers and spatial magic, was destroyed by a slave revolt over twenty centuries ago. Almost all artificers and nobles were either killed or expelled by the rebels. This nation, along with the magnificent civilization it had established, has since been irrevocably transformed into a hazy history and legend

However, Saventon, a primitive small nation composed of seven barren fishing villages along the narrow sea coast, has gradually grown, prospered, and expanded over this long period of time. It seized various opportunities and quickly transformed into a powerful and flourishing great nation, ultimately surpassing others and completely overshadowing the glory of those former powers

The lazy dragon remains the same, lying on its pile of treasures all day long, snoring away, and occasionally venturing out to kill and destroy, in order to exercise its plump and corpulent body

When Lord Nysser renamed Saventon, he could hardly have anticipated that in a period referred to as the "Nysser Era" following the *Map* book, this ordinary name meaning "Land of Nysser" would cause the entire world of Toril to tremble

Orcs, goblins, ogres, and other monsters continue to wander aimlessly, wielding crude and inferior weapons, engaging in unskilled tasks such as robbery

The once-dominant elves of the world have yet to recover from the wounds of the Five Crown Wars, and are forced to huddle in their respective forests as tribes,整理着 scattered knowledge and reminiscing about past glories. The few remaining elven kingdoms are also in decline, their power waning and their libraries in turmoil, constantly harassed by the dangerous neighbors surrounding them.

Then, a full thirty-five centuries have passed. During this long period, countless dramatic changes akin to the transformation of seas into mulberry fields have occurred on the vast and mysterious continent of Faerûn

The underground city-states of the dwarves, typically numbering only a few thousand inhabitants, continue to rise and fall, yet a formidable leader capable of uniting the entire race has never emerged—nor will there be one in the future.

I apologize; today has been quite overwhelming, both frustrating and exhausting. I just returned and truly have no time to write. Here I present the opening section of Chapter One of my previous work "The Chronicles of Chunaise" as a token of my apology
