Preface

Dark Small Medium Large Original Scroll to Bottom

The story I am about to tell is certainly not fantastical enough, nor does it contain enough swordplay and martial arts, and it lacks any indulgent fantasies; the narrative is grounded solely in reality

However, after much contemplation, I still feel compelled to share this story, perhaps as a wake-up call for some individuals

It can be seen that fate is predetermined by the heavens, and to go against fate is to go against one's own destiny

Before typing this story on the keyboard, I hesitated for a long time

Since Zhuge Liang followed Liu Bei, he set off "three fires" in total, and these "three fires" nearly consumed his lifespan. Ultimately, divine retribution befell him, and his illness reached a critical stage. Zhuge Liang could only extend his life through the means of defying fate.

These items are highly misleading to the public

But everyone can think carefully, Zhuge Liang's abilities are quite remarkable, aren't they

Many elements in this story cannot be easily clarified, nor can they be explained scientifically. Since they do not align with current "scientific views," this story can easily be criticized as a major source of superstition.

Many contemporary metaphysical texts and * diagrams * include a section on defying fate and changing one's destiny. I have read numerous articles on this topic, most of which suggest that by setting up a formation or conducting a ritual, one can find a treasure and thereby alter their fate

Remember, the heavens have eyes, fate is predetermined, do good deeds, and do not question the future

Over time, many people have come to believe that defying fate and changing one's destiny seems quite easy, especially those so-called masters of yin and yang, who make altering one's fate appear as simple as having a meal, and extending life seems to be just as effortless.

On the final day of the Seven Stars Lantern, as the life-extending endeavor was about to be completed, unexpectedly, Wei Yan intruded into the military tent and extinguished the Seven Stars Lantern, resulting in Zhuge Liang's eventual demise at Wuzhang Plain.
