Cao Cao did not dare to continue speaking. Regardless of the circumstances, Lü Bu took the risk of diverting the giant beast alone for the sake of the young men. If anything were to go wrong, it is feared that both Cao Cao and Yuan Shu would feel immense guilt.

Lü Bu rode on the giant beast, waiting for it to tire. When its strength was depleted, he pressed down on the beast's neck with one hand while using the other hand, holding a dagger, to fiercely stab at the beast's abdomen, as the belly was the softest part of its entire body, while the head and back were nearly as hard as bronze and iron.
