Chapter 9: The Wallet is Empty

Charlie mumbled for a while and ultimately had to accept Wang Bo's suggestion for the two of them to stay in one room, keeping the lights on. His handgun remained loaded as they both vigilantly watched their surroundings

Charlie looked at him in horror and slowly shook his head, saying: "It's not that there is something, but rather that there is nothing! There used to be a bunch of wild grapes on this table, I remember it clearly, I placed a bunch of wild grapes here before I went to sleep!"

Charlie nodded, handed him the pistol and advised him to be careful, then closed his eyes and soon fell asleep

Wang Bo asked Charlie to rest first, as this guy was too nervous before, even more tired than him, and naturally more sleepy now.

Returning to O'Marama, Charlie first took Wang Bo to the city's church, and then filled a large bottle with holy water to take back for bathing

Upon receiving a real firearm for the first time, Wang Bo was instantly filled with excitement. At that moment, the wooden door burst open with a loud noise from outside, followed by Charlie's panicked scream: "Wang, are you dead?!"

Hearing this, Charlie was taken aback for a moment, then inhaled deeply and patted his shoulder, saying earnestly: "Old Wang, you are a man of loyalty! You are truly a good brother!"

Charlie stopped wasting words with him and threw his bag at him, saying: "Hurry up, get out of here!"

After two days of effort, nothing was discovered. However, Wang Bo seems to have found out about Charlie's work; this individual may not only be an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but also connected to the library.

Wild grapes are a distinctive fruit of New Zealand, resembling a miniature version of regular grapes, with each berry being only the size of a soybean. They are sweet in flavor and highly popular.

If it is said that someone later climbed into the castle, that would be even more absurd, for the main gate is locked and the walls are so high that no one can get in, especially since the sound that was heard earlier came from a woman, and women cannot enter.
