Chapter 4: The Dramatic Heart Exchange (Part Four)
"Brother Chengtang, is your fiancée really in poor health? Could you take me to see her first?" Huang Baoshan leaned against Mo Chengtang, and at this moment, six months had already passed. It felt as if the scythe of death was hanging a little lower above her head. After enjoying herself for about ten days, she finally remembered the task she needed to accomplish and decided to visit his fiancée to have a good conversation with her.
Upon hearing her ideal man's agreement to her request, Huang Baoshan cautiously leaned closer, fortunate to embrace the chest she had longed for over the years
Huang Baoshan thought that since her life might be at stake in the future, it would be better to take this opportunity to give away her first time. Therefore, with a spirit of sacrifice and dedication, she began to twist around on Mo Chengtang, and the two of them immediately rolled into a tangle.
It was just such a small request, and Mo Chengtang felt a sense of relief in his heart, before saying in a somewhat reluctant manner: "I promise you!"
I still remember when I was in middle school, one time during a heavy rain without an umbrella, Huang Baoshan, wearing a white shirt uniform, got drenched. Her clothes clung tightly to her body and the book, and she had developed well since childhood. Just as she felt somewhat embarrassed, the gazes of the surrounding male classmates made her heart ache and brought her to the brink of tears. Then, Mo Chengtang, like a celestial being descending from the heavens, saved her. He held her in his arms, and the fresh scent from the prince lingered in her memory even to this day. He even gave her his umbrella. From that moment on, Huang Baoshan understood that despite her ordinary appearance and identity, the prince might not notice her. Yet, she still fell madly in love with him.
He would be delighted to receive news about himself soon. Mo Chengtang could almost imagine how happy his future in-laws would be once he informed Bai's parents that he had found a suitable heart for Baihe. Perhaps, in their joy, Bai's father would even consider giving him the subsidiary that he believed had great potential for development.
She feels that the world is too unfair to her, as the man she likes belongs to someone else. Now even her heart must belong to another. She must go see what the fiancée mentioned in the rumor looks like, and whether she is worthy of the man of her dreams
"Rest assured, I will not ask you for money," Huang Baoshan said, her face showing a look of hurt, yet she still pitifully added, "I ask you to be my boyfriend for half a year, a real boyfriend, not a pretend one"
"Of course, I would not deceive you." Huang Baoshan was unaware of the aggressive tone of Mo Chengtang; instead, a sense of happiness overflowed in her heart
"What are your conditions?" Upon hearing that she had conditions, Mo Chengtang could not help but show a displeased expression: "Speak quickly if you have something to say. I will certainly do what I can, but if I cannot do it, it is useless for you to insist!"
Upon hearing this news, Huang Baoshan thought her heart would break and she would die immediately, but she did not. She simply asked calmly, "Can I think about it?" Although the prince's proactive approach took her by surprise, this was her life at stake, and she could not treat it lightly. Moreover, she was enjoying the moment of closeness with the prince, and she and the library were reluctant to reject it too quickly.
Baihe was unaware of the transaction being discussed between the man and the woman; otherwise, she would have surely spat out a mouthful of old blood.
"Alright, I will give you two days to think it over, and I will come back to ask you the day after tomorrow." Mo Chengtang, with an air of elegance, turned to leave. Upon seeing him about to depart, Huang Baoshan felt a sudden rush of anxiety. She realized that he would not come to find her again tomorrow, and without thinking, she gritted her teeth and said, "No need to wait until the day after tomorrow; I will give you my answer tomorrow."
Mo Chengtang suppressed the excitement in his heart, feigning a cold expression. He nodded and said, "Alright, I will find you again tomorrow. I hope you do not deceive me"
Still by that tree, Huang Baoshan revealed a pale, bloodless face as she looked at the handsome young man walking gracefully towards her. He had his hands in his pockets, and his charm was genuine, unlike the cold images she had only been able to approach in photographs. Now, she could touch him in person. As Huang Baoshan thought of this, a faint smile appeared on her face: "I have considered your request, and I agree!" Seeing the smile on Mo Chengtang's face made Huang Baoshan's heart ache; she felt that he must truly love his girlfriend. A surge of unwillingness and jealousy rose within her: "But I have one condition!"
Through her diligent work after school, she managed to buy a high-quality camera, a sum that could cover several years of her tuition. Yet, she still worked for two years, gritting her teeth to save up for the camera. From then on, every move of her prince was captured by her camera, and after developing the photos, she plastered her room with them. Her love was so humble and deep; whenever the name Mo Chengtang appeared in the school publication, she meticulously cut it out, framed it, and displayed it. She loved him so profoundly and so much, but now, her prince, after finally noticing her, made a request that not only demanded her life but also shocked Huang Baoshan the most: he already had a fiancée.
Once they agreed to become a couple in exchange for a heart, Mo Chengtang naturally had to fulfill his duties as a boyfriend. He began taking Huang Baoshan out for outings, picking her up every day after school. Although Huang Baoshan was exceptionally beautiful, it was her innocence, kindness, and cuteness that gradually attracted Mo Chengtang. If it weren't for the fact that he still had the Bai family company on his mind, he might have already found it hard to resist truly falling in love with this girl.
Of course. Mo Chengtang looked at Huang Baoshan's innocent face, unsure if it was a case of beauty in the eyes of the beholder. The more he looked at Huang Baoshan, the more he found her charming, even perceiving beauty in her ordinary features. As they both contemplated the possibility of being separated forever, Huang Baoshan thought about how her boyfriend would be taken away by that unknown fiancée, and how her own heart would be given to her. A surge of injustice and resentment, mingled with self-pity, welled up within her.
In the past, she, as a die-hard fan of Mo Chengtang, was completely unaware of this matter, which shows how deeply he concealed it
As soon as she thought of this, Huang Baoshan felt as if the end of the world had come. Her lips began to touch Mo Chengtang's face in a chaotic manner. They were both young men and women in their prime, and Mo Chengtang was at an impulsive age. With the warm and soft beauty in his arms, how could he possibly resist? He captured Huang Baoshan's fragrant lips in his own and began to suckle.
After a whole day of struggle, in order to get along well with the prince and dedicate herself to him, allowing him to remember her for a lifetime, as opposed to having no life after death, Huang Baoshan still, like in the storyline, decided to donate her heart
