"Xin'er, your father misunderstood you. However, Xiao Feng is unwilling to explain how you two ended up fighting. Why don't you have a talk with your father?" Hai Yifeng said to Hai Xin, who had just come out, his gaze once again radiating the gentle warmth of a loving father.

"Dad, it was this madman who suddenly barged in; I don't know him at all." After clarifying her words, Hai Xin spoke anxiously again. She knew that although her father was very indulgent towards her and accommodated her in everything, there was one exception: her boyfriend. Her father, Hai Yifeng, was strongly opposed to her having a boyfriend, showing no room for compromise. She could not understand why her father, who was very open-minded about other matters, was so adamant about her dating. At nineteen, filled with youthful aspirations, she had reached the age for love.

Ye Feng! These two simple words caused Hai Yifeng's usually composed body to tremble violently, nearly causing him to lose his balance. Immediately, a glimmer of ecstatic joy appeared in his eyes as he stepped forward and grasped Ye Feng's shoulders, saying to him: "You are Xiao Feng, Xiao Feng, where are your parents? Quickly tell me, are they still alive?" At this moment, Hai Yifeng was extremely agitated, his usual composure had long been cast aside. Although there had been prior evidence proving that the Ye Long family had perished in a car accident, he had never been willing to accept this fact. Especially upon seeing Ye Feng appear at this moment, the despair he had felt was reignited with fervor.

Dad, why are you still laughing? That bastard is looking at me! Hai Xin saw the smile on Hai Yi Feng's face and immediately felt displeased, secretly wondering what was wrong with her father today. Although she knew from her mother that her father had a very good relationship with Ye Feng's father, she couldn't understand why he had changed his usual stance of opposing her close contact with boys, and was even able to laugh at this moment.

"Xin'er, how can you act so recklessly!" After a moment of shock, Hai Yifeng scolded Hai Xin, his expression somewhat grim. He never expected that Hai Xin would engage in such an indecent act. Xu Xiao also looked at Hai Xin, his gaze filled with a hint of surprise and displeasure.

Ye Feng!'' Looking at Hai Yifeng, Ye Feng spoke his own name. He finally understood why someone had moved into his home and why the furnishings in the house had not changed at all

Hai Xin and Ye Feng were both taken aback, completely unable to understand what Hai Yifeng was up to

Mom, what about Dad?" Hai Xin stamped her foot and said playfully to Xu Xiao

"Xiao Feng, come, tell me about your experiences over the years." Hai Yifeng pulled Ye Feng along, completely leaving Hai Xin and her daughter aside, and walked towards the sofa nearby. His friendly demeanor clearly indicated a long-standing relationship between elder and younger, rather than a first meeting.

In his youth, Ye Feng had often curiously asked Ye Long what kind of person Hai Yifeng was and how his father had come to know him, but Ye Long would always smile and remain silent.

Boom! Hai Yifeng felt a wave of confusion in his mind, his eyes turning slightly red. The hope that had just risen was instantly extinguished, leaving his heart cold. After a long while, Hai Yifeng regained his composure, patted Ye Feng's shoulder, and smiled, saying, "Xiao Feng, it's good that you're alive, just being alive is enough." The smile he forced was somewhat bitter, and Hai Yifeng's gaze seemed to drift, as if penetrating through time and space, returning to those glorious years.

"Who are you?" Hai Yifeng's gaze was fixed on Ye Feng, and from him emanated a faint aura that enveloped Ye Feng. This was the unique aura of a strong warrior forged through countless battles, a killing intent

Hai Xin and Ye Feng both widened their eyes in disbelief, asking what kind of talk this was, saying it was bound to happen sooner or later

At this moment, Hai Xin felt as if her heart had been shattered by Ye Feng. Her body straightened up, and she pushed Ye Feng away with one hand, stammering to explain to Hai Yifeng: "Dad, it's not what you think; it's him." At this moment, Hai Xin appeared somewhat anxious, as she had not anticipated this scene.

"Who are you, and why are you calling me that?" Hai Yifeng asked, his gaze fixed intently on Ye Feng, filled with confusion, as he did not recall knowing the Ye Feng before him.

Ye Feng had never met Hai Yifeng and had spent three years in the deep mountains, so it was quite normal for the latter not to recognize him. However, upon seeing Hai Yifeng, Ye Feng instantly recognized him. The middle-aged man before him was someone he had seen in photographs countless times. Ye Feng remembered that whenever his father, Ye Long, was alone, he would always hold an ancient photograph, wearing a heartfelt smile filled with memories. The man in that photograph, apart from Ye Long, was Hai Yifeng. Ye Long had once told Ye Feng: "If one day your father is no longer here, Uncle Hai will be your closest person."

Ye Feng also scrutinized Hai Yifeng. Although his stature was not imposing, he exuded a sense of substantial resilience. Most importantly, Ye Feng was not unfamiliar with Hai Yifeng's pair of weathered and profound eyes

After about an hour, Hai Yifeng was still talking with Ye Feng, as if there were endless topics to discuss. Of course, Ye Feng could not tell him that he had encountered a celestial being; he merely mentioned being trapped in the deep mountains and casually shared some of his experiences, which were a mix of truth and fiction.

Hai Xin's gaze shifted back and forth between the two individuals. What is this? The madman before her is actually getting along with her father, and it seems their relationship is quite close. In her memory, she had never seen her father so excited before.

Ye Feng had no doubt that if his answer did not satisfy the other party, Hai Yifeng would act immediately. A hint of a sunny smile appeared in his eyes as he shouted: "Uncle Hai!"

"Uncle Hai?" Hai Yifeng and Hai Xin were both taken aback, looking at Ye Feng with expressions of surprise and confusion. Hai Xin then angrily exclaimed, "You crazy pervert, what are you shouting about?"

"Aunt Fang, you go ahead and prepare dinner," Xu Xiao instructed Aunt Fang behind her, then pulled Hai Xin towards a nearby room

At this moment, Hai Xin followed Xu Xiao out of the room, heading towards Ye Feng and the other person.

Ye Feng did not evade, allowing Hai Yifeng to hold him. A trace of sorrow appeared in his eyes as he looked at the agitated Hai Yifeng and said softly: "Uncle Hai, my parents passed away in a car accident three years ago"

In Hai He's eyes, a hint of red clouds appeared as she glared fiercely at Ye Feng, clearly still seething with anger. Meanwhile, Xu Xiao leaned close to Hai Yifeng's ear to recount the events. Upon hearing the situation unfold in such a manner, a strange expression first crossed Hai Yifeng's face, followed by a knowing smile.

"Xiao, didn't you tell Xin'er?" Hai Yifeng asked Xu Xiao, while Xu Xiao shook his head.

Glancing at Hai Xin's attire, Hai Yi Feng was completely unresponsive to her words, his expression darkening continuously, as gloomy as water. Moreover, there was a faint aura of menace surrounding him, pressing down on Hai Xin's heart. However, Ye Feng felt no sense of oppression at all; instead, he looked at Hai Yi Feng with surprise, his gaze shifting constantly, as if he were pondering something.

Xin'er, you are originally Ye Feng's fiancée, and you will eventually become his wife. Isn't it just a matter of time?" Hai Yifeng smiled slightly and said to the two.

"It's nothing, just take a look, after all, it's bound to happen sooner or later," Hai Yifeng said with a nonchalant smile

Upon hearing Hai Xin's words, Hai Yi Feng turned his gaze towards Ye Feng. Despite his tattered clothes and disheveled long hair, Ye Feng's extraordinary demeanor could not be concealed, especially his pair of eyes, which, while pure, sparkled with a glimmer of wisdom, leaving Hai Yi Feng with an inexplicable sense of depth, unfathomable.
