Chapter 4: Kill
The rusted sword in Qin Li's hand was pressed against Wu's neck as he coldly said: "Manager Qin, my mother and I have been humiliated in the Qin family for thirteen years! We have endured mockery and ridicule, pointed fingers behind our backs, and both overt and covert schemes against us. We have tolerated all of this, but today this wretched person dares to insult my mother in front of me. Tell me, do you think this sword dares to cut in three more inches? Do you want to take a gamble on whether this rusty old sword can swiftly kill this wretched person?"
Qin Yong spoke in a dismissive manner, but neither Dr. Wu nor Qin Li could accept such a vague mediation.
What sends a chill down one's spine is that, from beginning to end, Qin Li's slightly youthful face is always adorned with a faint smile. Many of the Qin family's servants, who are familiar with Qin Li, have sensed that after a serious illness, this illegitimate son of the Qin family, who was once looked down upon by everyone, seems to have changed.
Wu struck her husband on the back of the head and scolded, "Useless thing!" With that, she puffed out her chest and walked towards Qin Li, glaring at him with her triangular eyes, "Here I come, you dog bastard, little wild child, what can you do to me!"
With a loud slap, Qin Li struck Wu's face fiercely, producing a crisp and resonant sound
Qin Hanyue knew who this person was; this woman was none other than the wife of the beaten Dr. Wu. She was a typical shrew, notorious among the servants of the Qin family. Even the smallest trivial matters could provoke her into a furious uproar, and nearly all the servants in the Qin household were quite intimidated by her
Qin Hanyue was astonished, covering her mouth with her hand, her heart racing to her throat. Her son had just taken the sword off the wall, and she thought Qin Li was merely using it to bolster his courage. To her surprise, in the blink of an eye, he had pressed the sword against Wu's neck. Although Qin Hanyue was not skilled in martial arts, her insight was exceptional. Seeing that Qin Li's hand holding the sword did not even tremble, she realized that he was truly intent on killing.
However, in the face of the once-favored young lady of the Qin family, Qin Yong was reluctant to act too harshly. He cast a somewhat disdainful glance at the wife of Physician Wu and simply said: "Qin Li, according to the laws of the Qinglong Kingdom, although you are not yet an adult, your actions are still inappropriate. Quickly bow to Physician Wu and apologize. Let us consider this matter settled."
Dr. Wu has just had two teeth knocked out by Qin Li. Although Qin Li currently appears harmless, who knows if this kid might go crazy again. Dr. Wu shook his head vigorously, saying, "Kid, just say whatever you have to say!"
On Qin Li's face, which still bore a hint of youthfulness, a smile suddenly appeared. Ignoring the incessant murmurs of Wu, he waved to Dr. Wu and said with a smile, "Dr. Wu, come here."
Puff
Qin Li, you need to be calm
Qin Yong furrowed his brow. If it weren't for the fact that Doctor Wu had generally been obedient, and considering he had a slight interest in Qin Hanyue, he definitely would not have waded into this murky water today. But since he was already here, he raised an eyebrow and looked at the composed and expressionless Qin Li, saying: "Qin Li, what do you think?"
This person, a steward of the Qin family, is named Qin Yong. He holds a significant position within the Qin family and was specifically invited by Physician Wu to maintain order. After all, Qin Hanyue was once the eldest daughter of the Qin family; if they cannot firmly suppress her with reason, these individuals would not dare to truly harm her and her son without cause.
Little Li
At the slightest disagreement, they drew their swords against each other, and the opponent was not only from the Qin family but also that inconspicuous little wildling from *Tu* *Shu*. People were left dumbfounded, especially Qin Yong, who was brought in to mediate, and the aggrieved Dr. Wu, who stood there like a wooden statue, almost losing the ability to think.
"Kneeling? A joke! My husband, Old Wu, lost two teeth for no reason. My chest still hurts; it might have injured my internal organs. Manager Qin, we invited you here because of your consistent fairness, but I cannot accept this from you!" Dr. Wu's wife, Ms. Wu, was sharp-tongued and managed to silence Qin Yong with a single remark.
However, with Qin Yong as a witness, the situation is different. If Qin Li dares to act again, it will be Qin Yong who is provoking.
All along, the one who laughed the most at Qin Li and her son was her. As Qin Han Yue's wife, she was fully aware of Wu Yishi's feelings towards Qin Han Yue. Therefore, although she did not dare to be too overt in front of Wu Yishi's wife, it was still quite common for her to indulge in some verbal sparring.
Dr. Wu wanted to create an imposing presence, but after losing two front teeth, his speech became airy, causing many onlookers to burst into laughter.
Dr. Wu summoned Qin Yong, who is a native of the Qin family. For three generations, the family has been associated with the library, and individuals like him are typically trusted. Although his status is not high, he wields substantial power, far surpassing the unfortunate mother and son, Qin Hanyue.
Qin Li furrowed his brow and casually took down a sword that looked quite unappealing from the wall, holding it in his hand
Killing a person is as easy as killing a chicken. Qin Li killed the Wu family member with a single sword strike, not even glancing back, and walked directly towards the already stunned Doctor Wu. In Qin Li's heart, the one who could not be spared was not this loquacious Wu family member, but this scum and beast who had harassed Qin Hanyue for so many years!
Qin Li drew out the broken sword in his hand, which had not a glimmer of light upon it. This should have been a comical and amusing scene, yet none of the onlookers dared to laugh.
A surge of hot blood spurted from Wu's neck, splattering all over Qin Li.
Wu was flailing about, trying to cover the wound with her hands. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but a torrent of blood gushed from her mouth. Her eyes radiated an indescribable terror, yet it was all too late. Her body went limp and she collapsed. The last thing she saw was the illegitimate child she had mocked for thirteen years, now resembling a god of death.
Wu's eyes bulged round, and her face was swollen high, yet this did not affect the venomous words that sprang from her mouth.
Wu's mouth slightly agape, she stood there in shock, unable to fathom that Qin Li would dare to strike her in front of everyone. However, what she could not anticipate was yet to come.
A smile reappears on the face, yet to the eyes of others, it resembles that of a demon
Chirping ... ...
Qin Hanyue had another question in her heart: When did Qin Li become so calm?
There is only one thought in my mind: how dare he draw his sword
"Are you trying to scare me? ... Put away your broken sword! You little bastard, if you have the guts, kill me! How dare you hit me? Remember this: either kill me, or I will not let this go! Also, why do you smell so bad? You really are a mixed breed, you reek!"
Qin Yong watched as the smile at the corner of Qin Li's mouth slowly faded, and a murderous intent began to emerge in his eyes. He realized that this kid had completely lost his mind. As he tried to urge Qin Li to calm down, before he could even finish the word 'calm,' he saw Qin Li's eyes emit two sharp beams of light, and his right hand pressed down and pulled back.
Dr. Wu has already had his wife prepare a meal at home, following her around dejectedly. Next to Dr. Wu stands a middle-aged man dressed in a deep blue long gown, who appears to possess a certain elegance.
