Prologue

Dark Small Medium Large Original Scroll to Bottom

It remains a vague scene, with only a general concept. He is slender, with his hand resting on the back of the chair, his skin pale. This man is at odds with the sunlight behind him, as if a layer of icy mist is isolating him.

The dark red velvet curtains were slowly drawn up, the light gradually dwindling, becoming increasingly faint, as darkness perfectly enveloped the space, expelling the last remnants of natural brightness. He remained seated there, dressed in a black shirt, the mysterious and noble dark hue appearing as if coated in a silver sheen. He resembled a vampire count from a medieval novel, with a smudge at the corner of his mouth resembling a deep rose-colored stain, darkly handsome.

Xia Huixi trembled with anxiety, wanting to see the man's appearance clearly. However, he looked down at her from a height, his gaze never meeting hers, revealing only his perfectly sculpted jawline, his expression as enigmatic as a distant star whirl in the sky.

There is an uncontrollable sensation of heat within the body, which, in contrast to his perpetually cool touch, creates a marvelous tactile experience

She had already lost all her strength, allowing him to unbutton all her buttons. The thin and soft shirt fell below her shoulder blades, and the small, form-fitting silk camisole underneath was even less of an obstacle for him. His hand pressed against her fair and soft chest, and his thin lips followed suit, slowly moving towards her lips

She finally, in a miraculous way, saw his features clearly

The man's actions suddenly came to a halt, and he deliberately lowered his gaze.

... ...

The sense of touch brings forth marvelous curves, as if his fingers possess magic, playing her body like a string, with a deliberate and unhurried rhythm

The man's hair was slightly long, with the ends resting on her skin, as if a piece of snow were melting, or the caress of a grain of sand—Xia Huixi had never known she could be so sensitive, as even the slightest provocation made her tremble involuntarily

There was no struggle, no resistance; deep within her heart was a joy that longed to please, hoping for his actions to continue.

The light was sparse to the point of being ungraspable, yet she could see his movements clearly. He stood up, walked in front of her, slowly bent down, and his fingertip touched her cheek, cool and smooth. It slid down a little further until it reached her neck, then brushed against the second button of her striped shirt

Xia Huixi looked around the office with some confusion. The space was astonishingly spacious. Light streamed in from the window directly facing her, and the color of the floor gave a warm feeling. It was made of solid wood, and the harmonious and orderly geometric patterns were naturally formed. One can imagine how many towering ancient trees would need to be felled to find such perfect raw materials

She seemed to have just noticed that a man was sitting behind the table. Therefore, she opened her eyes wide, trying to see clearly the person across from her through the glaring light
