Chapter 4, the thirteenth one

I screamed hysterically several times, but received no response at all. I then calmed down and checked my body, discovering that my clothes were still on, but my backpack and other belongings were gone

My heart was filled with both regret and hatred, yet at that moment, I heard the crisp sound of high heels tapping against the stone pavement behind me. I hurriedly turned around and saw the beautiful woman I had been chasing just moments ago standing right behind me.

Suddenly, with a hissing sound, it unexpectedly spat out its tongue

My mind was filled with confusion, and I instinctively reached back to touch the back of my head. To my surprise, I felt something sticky and gooey. Bringing it closer to my nose, I detected a metallic scent of blood. Then, I stretched my limbs and realized that I was not bound.

This feeling startled me, causing me to hurriedly retract my hand and step back two paces. Unable to contain the fear within me, I shouted out loud

I asked countless questions, yet that person did not respond. After a long while, he finally said softly: "My friend, have you been tricked by someone these past few days?"

I had not finished my harsh words, yet that woman sweetly said, "You finally came?"

I nodded vigorously, recalling that it was dark here, and he might not be able to see, so I hurriedly spoke up to confirm.

I had been in darkness, and suddenly saw light, which made me somewhat unaccustomed. I closed my eyes and after a few seconds, I opened them again. However, at the very moment I opened my eyes, I saw a large snake's head appear not far in front of me, its dark, cold eyes staring intently at me.

I have mentioned before that this woman is incredibly beautiful, a perfect ten, with a sharp chin that could pierce through anyone, resembling a seductress. She dresses in a fashionable manner, just like those young models in the photos online

I felt a bit dazed and still wanted to interrogate, but at that moment, not far to my right, the sound of a lock being opened came through, followed by a beam of light.

I did not expect that as soon as I exerted strength with my arm, that woman's right hand slipped out like a snake and tapped my chest.

At that time, I did not think much of it, feeling that the other party was merely a delicate and weak woman, incapable of withstanding the wind. With my strength, I was not afraid of her, so I quickly caught up. To my surprise, that woman was wearing high heels, yet she walked quite fast. In just a few moments, she had completely vanished from sight

In the darkness, I felt an endless fear, but years of experience in the outside world compelled me to calm myself down

I trembled in fear, and at that moment, a woman shouted angrily, "It's time to eat, you pigs, get up quickly!"

The voice in the corner weakly said: "Who am I? Hehe..."

However, the voice carried a hint of sorrow and indignation, leaving me perplexed. I wanted to walk over to him, but unexpectedly, he spoke up to stop me: "Don't come over here; there are many venomous snakes. If you move carelessly, you might get bitten."

I recall the humiliation I endured that day, and it fills me with an intense anger

Unable to find anyone, I suddenly felt a bit flustered. I looked around and noticed a suspicious alleyway to my left, so I decided to run over. In the end, however, I found myself in front of someone's backyard.
