Chapter 6: Hunting

Lu Chao drew the curtains and hid behind the wall by the window, secretly observing outside. If any wolves attempted to attack the security window, he would plug in the device and electrify the security window again

In the past two days, the house has become his only source of safety; the world outside the house is terrifying, and even drawing the curtains makes him feel a loss of security

Ya Ya touched her round little belly, looking at Lv Chao with a playful smile, even though she still could not understand what he was saying

Are there other humans in this world? And have they already become the prey of these wild wolves?

After pulling out the plug, the body of the electrocuted wolf fell straight to the ground outside the window, continuing to emit a burnt smell and a small amount of black smoke, but it did not appear to be on fire

After closing the door, Lu Chao, exhausted to the point of weakness, sat down heavily on the floor

He has checked that the voltage at home is 220 volts and the output current is 10 amperes, such a large current is sufficient to quickly kill a wild wolf

After everything was ready, Lv Chao sat quietly in front of the electrified security window, waiting for the time when the wolf pack would conduct their afternoon patrol.

Nothing edible on the wild wolf was wasted, and soon the empty refrigerator of Lv Chao was filled again

After waiting for another half an hour, feeling that the wolf pack should have moved far away, Lu Chao opened the security door, quickly circled to the security window outside where the wild wolf had been electrocuted, found the corpse of the wild wolf, and with great effort dragged it towards the front door, bringing it into the living room of the house

Upon discovering its prey, the wild wolf immediately became excited, howling to call its companions while lunging towards the security window with bared teeth and claws

Lü Chao brought a broken power strip, detached the plug and wires from the socket, and then connected the live wire to the iron security net outside the window
