There are many things in the world that even if others witness them with their own eyes, those who hear about them may not necessarily believe. Only when one sees them with their own eyes can the feeling of astonishment and horror be truly experienced.

I often hear the elderly recount strange and unusual tales. In my childhood, I regarded these as mere stories and did not take them seriously. However, as I have grown older, coupled with my own observations of reality, I increasingly feel that there are indeed some things in this world that cannot be explained by common reasoning. Most people are unlikely to believe in their existence, but how many would truly believe in their non-existence?

This book collects numerous strange tales recounted by octogenarians and nonagenarians, which the author has integrated into several stories. Whether one believes or not is of little importance, and whether one chooses to read or not is entirely up to the reader's interest. However, it would indeed be a pity if the stories told by the elderly were to be buried with them a century later.
