Tang Brick

Well then, as I listen to the ghostly cries outside the window, the autumn rain dances gracefully. I take a blunt brush to compose verses for the prosperous era of the Li-Tang dynasty, removing the dark parts. My Tang dynasty knows no sorrow, only the valiant spirit of golden spears and iron horses, emperors who swallow the sun and moon with their might, fierce generals who bathe in blood from a hundred battles, noble scholars in high caps and flowing robes, gentle and virtuous empresses, filial sons and kind fathers, a flourishing era that endures. This is my Tang dynasty, my "Tang Brick".
