Hometown

Dark Small Medium Large Original Scroll to Bottom

Whispers of love linger in the cold night, with dreams in our hearts, we fold soft leaves into wings. The wind from our hometown, happiness silently rises, carrying our longing to wander and soar. It seeps into the heart, yet invisibly, it has already left scars. It shines like a knife, a heart of chilling cold, lost in the fog that obscures the path. We leave our hometown, still youthful and reckless, our generous vows dissipating in the wind and frost, stepping into the wilderness. This poem is the first poem of "The Record of the Fire Beacon Wanderer," written in the first volume, chapter six. When the male protagonist rescues his first love, whom he both loves and hates, from the royal dungeon, they escape from pursuers against all odds. As they lie together, they share nostalgia for the past, mutual guilt, and a yearning for an uncertain future. The time that has passed soars in the wind of longing, the gentle affection wraps their two hearts, tormented by fate, together. Although the future remains unpredictable, the homeland of their souls will become their eternal comfort and refuge. Hometown, never forgotten. Loneliness and helplessness devour the morning light, beneath the childhood tree, deeply trapped in despair. Tears of sorrow, yearning for the warm sun. Flying towards the reachable paradise, the river caresses, infusing the power of rebirth, the soul intoxicated by sweetness.

We fold the soft leaves into wings

The wind of my hometown
