Section 5
The lich widened his eyes in surprise, as he did not detect any presence belonging to the living

We are leaving here
These items and firearms were all excavated by Wilderg from some peculiar locations. In addition, there is a small amount of drinking water and a compressed agent for rapid stamina replenishment. The lich was not surprised by this; he had seen squirrels in the tree sea burying pine cones multiple times, digging holes here and there.
He was immediately choked up, Mother of God, this is—chicken heart conch
The liquid within the teeth and tongue of this chicken heart snail is a potent anesthetic toxin, the lich observed his gaze and nodded: "A mixture with the blue-ringed octopus can provide excellent pain relief. Moreover, the taste becomes quite similar to honey milk candy. Give it a try; you should have regained your ability to move."
Wildeg nearly screamed
"No," Wilder shook his head. "I have to take us back."
Oh, 2 of them, you did quite well. The young man said softly: Now we can make it out.
"It is much better than morphine," said the Lich
The strange silence did not last long. The Lich carefully placed the Wildg baby face down. The cold sandy ground made Wildg roll his eyes, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Alex grinding something on a relatively flat rock. The strong smell of the sea pierced his nose, and an ominous premonition reached its peak as the latter walked steadily to his side.
Very good
Watching with satisfaction as the black-gray object on the human spine strangely solidified, the lich carefully pressed from the nape of the neck down to the tail end of the spine, testing the resilience of the solidified substance. The material, similar to human skin, effectively protected the extensive wounds exposed to the outside, and even the distinctive sweet and metallic scent of blood became faint under its cover.
With a loud bang, a strange blue flame briefly illuminated the rocks where they were hiding. Fortunately, the fierce battle outside continued, with flames of various colors breaking through the gloomy sky before dawn, and for the time being, no one would notice this place.
Although he did not like that title, the Lich generously gave him a second piece. This time, Weirdeg saw the ingredient for the "Honey Milk Candy"—a rather beautiful ocean yam snail
Alex is an abbreviation for Alexander (the protector of humanity, king). The lich thought that this might not indicate intimacy, but rather a term with a mocking connotation. However, Wilderg did not say anything further; he focused intently on unhooking the black strap of the rifle from the sling. The latter half of the strap was wrapped around his left upper arm, and then he pressed the broader side against his shoulder, using his right wrist to stretch and tighten the strap.
"Protect yourself," perhaps because she saw that he had no further actions, the rude young man revealed his white teeth—a malicious smile: "Alex baby"
"Now we can make it out," said the Lich.
Before they heard the praise, the cold gun barrel was pressed against the backs of the two young men
An unknown substance was inserted into the mouth of the latest experimental subject. Wieldge licked his lips; it was very sweet, very soft, and reminiscent of honey milk candy. He no longer felt as much pain: "Not bad, baby Alex, if there’s more, give me another piece."
"I have always felt sharp." The Lich said calmly
"Alright," Weirdeg glanced unenthusiastically at a small instrument, "Our welcoming party has arrived. I hope they are not too enthusiastic; seven is already quite enough." Seven new small green dots lit up on the device, a type of instrument that seemed to detect life through heat. The lich discreetly lowered and then restored its body temperature, causing a small dot that mingled with the green dot representing Weirdeg to flicker briefly. It was quite interesting, and the lich decided to keep it.
Thank you. Wilderg mumbled shyly like a picture book, blood dripping from the tips of his hair onto his eyelashes, which he impatiently wiped away
The lich's response was to kick him in the rear, a searing hot gust of air swept over his head, stripping away all the hair and some skin along its path. Poor child, yet he should consider himself fortunate; at least tomorrow he can have his hair cut by a barber, rather than having his shattered watermelon-like head arranged by a mortician's beautician.
"No matter what, I am glad to see that you are still alive," said Wierdg, as if he had finally accepted some kind of reality. He then threw a metal object resembling a staff towards the lich, who calmly relinquished control of his body to instinct. His right arm raised, and five fingers accurately grasped the dark object, which was quite heavy—it must have been a modified automatic rifle.

Wilde stared at him, slowly rising from the ground. He now felt light and full of energy. He reached back to touch his skin, which was smooth and unblemished. The skin naturally stretched with the movement of his muscles, and there was no sensation of pain or pulling at all. This was in stark contrast to his previous condition, making him feel even more as if he were in a nightmare. Was it not so? I was actually saved by the deceased baby Alex.
He waited for the young man beside him to fire first, as the Lich believed that the timing should be more precise on the opponent's part than on his own—there was little more to say about what followed. They seamlessly eliminated seven individuals, and Wilderg's performance was significantly better than that of the Lich, which was quite normal, as the latter was still a novice in this regard.
The lich tilted its head, looking curiously at the young man who had suddenly tensed up all over. Oh, he was gently rubbing the crushed remnants of a lion's mane jellyfish in his hands. This creature, when mixed in a certain proportion with spotted seaweed and brown kelp, had excellent effects for stopping bleeding and preventing infection, though the pain might be slightly more intense. He had forgotten that the lich's tolerance for pain was among the highest even in Faerûn; the same pain, in his view, was merely like being pricked by a small needle. However, for an ordinary person, it would undoubtedly feel like being pierced by a thousand arrows. At this moment, Wilderg felt worse than being pierced by a thousand arrows; at least the arrows wouldn't transform into countless passionate samba dancers on his back. He did not truly scream out, entirely because he did not want to end up shouting and acting like a petulant child after being held tenderly by Alex as if he were a child.
Wildeg said that even in dreams, he does not like being riddled with bullet holes, nor does he wish to die alongside Alex. No, if given a choice, he would prefer his final resting place to belong to a fiery beauty with chestnut curls, enchanting emerald eyes, snow-white skin, and a graceful figure.
As he passed the Lich's third prey, he let out a low whistle: "How did you spot him?" It was a perfect visual blind spot, and that fellow was equipped with a device to conceal heat signatures.
The Lich's score has increased to 3.
The first collaboration between the two was not bad; they successfully approached a small dock without letting anyone discover that the two sons of Táng Héjiā and Sàlì'āi'ěr were wandering in enemy territory. The lich noticed that Wilderg would always glance briefly towards the center of the base: "Are we going to the base?"
Expressing astonishment at the fragility of ordinary humans, the lich continued his work. The grotesque wound on Wieldge's back evidently stemmed from damage caused by fire or lightning elements. Bullets? Although he had memories, the lich regrettably did not have the time to study the physical object in detail upon seeing it for the first time. He handled it simply yet meticulously, and then took out a disposable lighter.
The lich studied each of his movements with concealment and caution, noticing the slight drop of the gun muzzle—then he had to turn his gaze back to his weapon. He could ensnare those who cautiously approached them one by one in the two small indentations. I captured them, yet they remained completely unaware, the lich thought, this feeling is truly marvelous
