This is a world known only to me, yet I have discovered that I have experienced the origins of a fantastical realm

As time flows, thousands of years later, many things will become unrecognizable, for example:

The so-called elves are all weak and kind, constantly being sold by others; the so-called orcs are all dim-witted and muscular.

The so-called nobility is characterized by cunning, ruthlessness, and perversion; the so-called popes and bishops are implicitly regarded as the ultimate villains

The so-called giants are either legends or descendants of deities; the so-called dwarves are the hearty and versatile miners and blacksmiths.

What about before this

In this book, you will witness the disillusionment of heroes and the fall of legends. There are war-admiring elves; upright human nobles; meticulous giants; timid succubi; pure-hearted wives; blood-averse assassins; handsome knights... um, the centaur prince; beauty-loving angelic lace; compassionate necromancers; irritable dragon maidens; the naive queen devoid of majesty; blood-fainting vampires; and other similarly inverted and chaotic settings

Essentially, this is a fantasy story that, while claiming to be retro-style, subverts tradition.
