Wildness

Author : 巫哲

Genres : Urban-Fi

Status: Completed

Description:

I wish to have you on my left shoulder and a smile on my right shoulder

I want to run wild in your eyes

I wish that with just a glance, we could grow old together

Jiang Cheng, an outstanding student from a prestigious school, was "exiled" to the steel factory where his biological father worked by his foster family. The unfamiliar environment, his coarse father, and the stark contrast with his former school, No. 4 Middle School, left him feeling oppressed and depressed. Until one day, by chance, Jiang Cheng met Gu Fei, the "little tyrant" of the steel factory, marking the beginning of a story about "redemption" and "hope"

This winter, Jiang Sheng feels particularly cold. Due to long-standing estrangement and conflicts, he has returned to the city of his birth from the home of his adoptive parents, where he has lived for over ten years, to confront a biological father who is a stranger and utterly lacking in merit. An unexpected event brings Gu Fei and Gu Miao, a pair of siblings, into his life. In a strange city, among unfamiliar people, and at an age prone to rebellion, Jiang Sheng's life trajectory has quietly changed.

The author's writing is fluid, and the character portrayals are vivid and accurate. Jiang Cheng appears rebellious but is, in fact, sensitive and delicate. Upon realizing that the rift with his family is irreconcilable, he resolutely chooses to leave. Gu Fei, seemingly indifferent and unruly on the outside, is actually kind-hearted and responsible. These two characters serve as the very soul that supports the entire work. As the plot gradually unfolds, the understanding between the protagonists deepens, bringing them closer together, with the details showcasing the author's remarkable expressive power. Both are drawn to each other's unique qualities, providing mutual comfort and warmth. As the story unfolds, although the protagonists' lives are filled with many frustrations and disappointments, they remain full of emotion and hope.
